To make things easier for our clients who prefer to get all of their cleaning services done on the same day, we can perform window and carpet cleaning on the same trip to your home or office. Our window cleaning professionals will leave your windows sparkling inside and out, and are able to reach those hard to get windows without stepping foot on a ladder.
What to expect:
- First, our technician will inspect the windows that are to be cleaned. The cost of each window depends on a few factors such as: condition, size, placement, and overall maintenance. Unmaintained windows which have not been cleaned annually will have heavy dirt build up on both the tracks and screens; this will require more attention which will increase cost per window. On the other hand, if the windows are regularly cleaned by a professional, the job will be less demanding, keeping overall cost down.
- Once our technician has discussed your options he will begin setting up the equipment and removing screens. His equipment consists of two industrial-grade deionization tanks which will turn ordinary tap water into a spot-free rinse. The second piece of equipment is referred to as a “tucker pole” which enables our technician to clean windows up to eighty feet high without assistance from a ladder.
- After the technician is finished cleaning the exterior windows and has scrubbed screens, he will then begin the cleaning process on the interior windows. This is done by hand, using spot-free water and a special streak-free cleaning solution. The technician will apply soapy water to each window using a microfiber towel and then remove it with a hand squeegee. After the window is cleaned, attention is given to cleaning out the tracks: removing dust, built-up spider webs, etc.
- Once the windows are completely clean and dry, the technician will begin inserting all of the screens back into the windows thereby completing the job.
Best days & times to clean windows:
Thankfully we live in southern California which means that almost every day is a good time to clean your windows, but there are weather conditions that tend to be optimal for getting the best results. To ensure you get the best possible cleaning try to keep a few things in mind before scheduling an appointment:
- Early morning or late afternoon are the best times to get your windows cleaned; this is because the sun is not directly on the windows. Direct sunlight will cause windows to dry prematurely which causes spots to appear even with spot-free deionized water.
- Days with overcast skies are great days to have your windows cleaned as well. With no direct sunlight on the windows during cleaning ensures a streak-free window.
There are also a few weather conditions other than rain that will prevent you from achieving your desired results:
- Heavy Santa Ana winds will prevent us from being able to clean your windows effectively, since dust and other environmental debris will be flying around. Extra debris will add to the already soiled windows.
- Excessive moisture in the air will also prevent our technicians from doing their job properly.
